ASIS 002 - Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training

Description:

This 2-day interactive workshop is designed for anyone 16 and older who wants to build the skills and confidence to support someone thinking about suicide. The aim of this training is to equip people across every part of a community- workplaces, schools, frontline services, sports teams, volunteer organizations and everyday settings- with practical, proven suicide intervention skills.


The workshop features a scientifically proven intervention model, powerful audiovisual learning aids, group discussions, skills practice and development, and a balance of challenge and safety.


Participation in the full two days is required. Participate in group discussions and practice skills that are based upon adult learning principles. Experience powerful videos on suicide intervention. Feel challenged and safe. Learn the tools to make a life-saving difference.
