Wayfinder promotes career information, job and training opportunities, resources, and funding programs which assist Yukon First Nation people to build skills, find employment and/or excel in their jobs. Our focus is on highlighting programs, services, resources and opportunities available in the Yukon, and specifically those which are created by or for Yukon First Nations. Other programs, services, resources and opportunities will be considered on a case by case basis.

The Job Board includes only those positions within Yukon First Nation governments, businesses, and organizations as well as those which have an indigenous hiring priority.

We prioritize training taking place in the Yukon. Training occurring outside the Yukon will be considered on a case by case basis. We encourage providers to familiarize themselves with Yukon First Nation cultural protocols and to adapt their offerings to a Yukon First Nation context.

We prioritize, but are not limited to, resources produced by or for First Nations. Resources can be defined as: audio files, videos, publications, templates, research, Yukon-based organizations and consultants, etc. that fit within one or more of the resource categories found on Wayfinder. Electronic resources can either be housed on Wayfinder or available via hyperlink on a third-party website. Providers must have full rights to share the resources they are posting. Resources posted to the site may be free of charge or have an associated cost, handled by the provider.
