The Office of the Registrar is seeking a Funding Advisor to join a dynamic team that supports students applying to graduate from Yukon University.
The funding advisor reports to the Associate Registrar, Registrations & Records, and supports students seeking financial aid during their studies.

The Funding Advisor regularly meets with students to guide them in applying for the best type of available funding for their needs. They will also liaise with territorial, provincial, and federal governments to confirm applications, maintain knowledge of eligibility criteria, and provide updates to regulations and policies. In addition, they will seek out and support new funding opportunities available for students.

The Funding Advisor is also responsible for managing Yukon University awards, scholarships, bursaries, and emergency fund applications.

The preferred candidate for this role will have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, education, psychology, counselling or equivalent work experience. This position not only offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the academic success of our students but also provides a platform for professional growth and development.
