The Yukon First Nation Education Directorate (YFNED) is seeking a dedicated Wellness & Allied Health Support Worker to join our Mobile Therapeutic Unit (MTU) & Allied Health Team. This role promotes the well-being and development of students by supporting speech, language, communication, and independence.
Working closely with therapists and wellness team members, the Wellness & Allied Health Support Worker provides individualized support to enhance students' independence and success in learning environments. The position emphasizes culturally safety and Indigenous-focused approaches that align with the values and vision of YFNED.
Position Requirements:
• Must be based in the Pelly area.
• Pre-employment Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Clearance.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with an acceptable driver’s abstract and reliable transportation is an asset. It is responsibility of the successful candidate to get to and from the worksite(s).
