Kwanlin Dün First Nation (KDFN) is seeking a Records Management Clerk to join our records management team. The records clerk will provide support to departments to help them classify records, develop inventories, transfer records to and from offsite storage, and help manage records disposition for both paper and electronic records. They also manage key back-end processes to ensure records schedules are followed and actions properly documented and approved.
As KDFN modernizes our records and document management processes and tools, the Records Management Clerk will play a key supportive role for departments as they adjust to changes. As we implement new systems, end-user support will be the focus of the records clerk as they will coach users, develop reference material, and coordinate tasks for implementing KDFN departments to managing records with software tools.Required Qualifications (what we look for on your resume): An equivalent combination of post-secondary education (i.e.: Diploma), combined with significant current/lived experience in the areas identified above, will equally be considered.
- Post-secondary education in Records Management, Office or Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Experience with managing large volumes of data or documents and ensuring everything is labeled and indexed appropriately.
- Experience in archiving paper or electronic records.
- Experience using Microsoft software inclusive of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience working with databases is an asset.
