Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

• Permanent Full-time – 37.5 hours a week
• Starting August 22, 2023
• Salary range is $27.99 - $34.06 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
• RRSP share plan and benefits
• 7 weeks paid vacation
• Employees of the Child Development Centre primarily work following the school calendar

Excellent opportunity to join the professional team of the Child Development Centre in beautiful Whitehorse, Yukon. Our growing team provides quality early intervention services to children from birth – 5 years of age throughout the Yukon. Relocation allowance of up to $2000 is available.

Responsibilities Include:
• Implementing therapy plans with individual clients and/or in a group setting
• Collecting data and completing screens as requested
• Working with a team, including family members and Child Development Centre staff
• Maintaining documentation and other administrative duties as requested
• Assisting in the preparation, organization and maintenance of resources


Qualifications:
• Relevant diploma or degree in therapy assistant program with a specialization in speech-language pathology
• Experience working with young children is an asset
• Experience working in a cross-cultural setting

This position is covered by the Public Service alliance of Canada Collective Agreement.
