Overview

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Receptionist greets and re-directs callers and visitors in a profession courteous manner. The Receptionist also provides a variety of services to the employees and community through the co-ordination and organization of front desk activities. The Receptionist works at the front desk while regularly rotating tasks between front desk and administrative support.
 
Qualifications

·         Knowledge of office management systems and procedures, filing, typing, reception, and office administration.

·         General or basic knowledge of Dease River First Nation (DRFN)

·         General or basic knowledge of the Kaska people

·         Basic knowledge of Microsoft office.

·         Office reception skills (telephone, fax, customer service)

·         Excellent organizational skills

·         Ability to ensure quality service delivery.

·         Ability to complete tasks requiring a high level of concentration despite frequent interruptions.

·         Strong written and oral communication skills.

·         Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

·         Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal courteously and professionally with the public, callers, employees and contractors.

 
Education/Experience
The successful candidate will possess an office administration diploma with at least two (2) years experience and/or equivalent in education and experience.
