The Yukon Water and Wastewater Operator Program is seeking Expressions of Interest for the part-time position of Program Support Officer. The Program Support Officer undertakes a range of program reporting, implementation, logistics, and/or administrative activities to support the development and delivery of programs. The job activities will be tailored to the qualifications of the preferred candidate.

The Yukon Water and Wastewater Operator Program enables Yukoners to enter, progress within, and remain in water and wastewater careers, with the aim of supporting community health and well-being.

We are looking for skills and qualifications in the following areas, though we encourage you to apply even if you only meet a subset of them:
• Attention to detail
• Preparing reports
• Budgeting
• Logistics planning and execution
• Administrative tasks
• Knowledge of drinking water and/or wastewater systems
• Oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft suite of programs
• Problem solving
• Comfortable using hand tools and doing physical, hands-on work
