Reporting to the Manager, Information Management and Technology, the Records Management Analyst is responsible for supporting all departments to manage records through the stages of the information lifecycle in accordance with the records governance policies at ORGNAIZATION. Hands on processing and planning of records classification, storage, imaging, collaboration disposition and archival selection is a major element of this role as well as contributing to the development and implementation of records management policies and procedures, and leading digital transformation initiatives. RM Analyst assists in managing the lifecycle of both paper and digital records and supports the implementation of records management policies and procedures. RM Analyst provides basic training and hands-on support to staff and supports the RM Specialist in compliance and digital transformation projects. The Records Management Analyst will also work with ORGNAIZATION departments to manage their records by providing coaching, guidance and training. The Records Management Team is a partner for success of all the ORGNAIZATION departments through supporting effective records and information management.
Required Qualifications (what we look for on your resume): An equivalent combination of post-secondary education (i.e.: Diploma), combined with significant current/lived experience in the areas identified above, will equally be considered.
- Post-secondary education in Records and Information Management, Information Governance, Office or Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Experience supporting teams in records classification, retention, and digital records governance.
- Experience using or administering electronic document and records management systems (EDRMS) such as SharePoint, M-Files, OpenText, or similar platforms.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint Online, Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Understanding of digital transformation, metadata, and information lifecycle management in modern workplaces.
- Knowledge of Kwanlin Dün First Nation’s history, culture, and governance structure is considered an asset.

- Ability to analyze business processes and identify opportunities to improve information management efficiency.
- Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality, privacy, and data protection.
Understanding of digital records preservation, data security, and compliance standards.
Knowledge of Kwanlin Dün First Nation history and governance structure is an asset.
Conditions of Employment:
- Satisfactory pre-employment criminal records check;
Salary: $61,315.80 - $99,717.80 per annum ($33.69 - $54.79 per hour) Level 5 *plus benefits
