Salary: $78,278.71 to $106,434.63 per annum based on 70 hours bi-weekly (depending on qualifications and experience)About Kluane First Nation

Kluane First Nation is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Municipal Foreman. This position is responsible for overseeing public works, municipal operations, and maintenance of KFN’s infrastructure, including buildings, roads, and capital assets. It manages daily operations, staff, contractors, budgeting, and program administration, while coordinating activities within the department and with others as needed. The incumbent will work under the plans and priorities set by Chief and Council and senior management, with responsibility for daily decision-making to meet objectives within policy and budget constraints.Education and Experience
A certificate, diploma, or trades qualification in construction, public works, infrastructure maintenance, or a related field is required. Considerable experience in supervising crews and coordinating construction, maintenance, or public works operations is required. Considerable experience working with contractors, inspecting work sites, and overseeing projects from planning to completion is required. Experience working with computers and proven computer skills are required. Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and developing workplans is an asset. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Conditions of Employment
- Valid Yukon Class 5 driver’s license and an up-to-date clean driver’s abstract
- Willingness and ability to work outside normal working hours, weekends, and overtime, and to travel within and outside the territory
