Salary: $45.15 -$53.75 hourly

As a regional campus program and course leader, this position works with Department Heads, faculty and staff in Continuing Studies to develop, organize, promote, implement, and evaluate programs, courses, and workshops within the region that support the professional and workforce development needs identified by the Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in, Dawson City community, and university strategic and academic plans.

The Manager of the regional campus will have excellent customer service and organizational skills. The position is responsible for coordinating and implementing business-generating activities and events that contribute to the mission, strategic directions, goals and objectives of the university. The Manager is responsible for achieving annual financial goals that are set in consultation with the Department Head and Executive Director of Continuing Studies.

The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably a master’s degree, combined with experience in coordinating events or programming that has created a supportive environment for First Nation and other learners, is comfortable with activities that support FN heritage, and is enthusiastic about building a role with the university in the community and Yukon. Those with demonstrated related skills and competencies (e.g. as acquired by working in FN or Yukon government or other bureaucracy) and strong community connections will be considered.
