Term/Location: Permanent, Part-time, Burwash Landing, Yukon

Salary: LT-05, $52,290.83 to $72,852.94 per annum based on 60 hours bi-weekly (depending on qualifications and experience)

Overview
Reporting to the Transport, Security, and Equipment Coordinator, this position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in Kluane First Nation government administrative buildings in Burwash Landing, Yukon.  It also ensures a safe and hygienic environment through various cleaning and maintenance tasks and performs other related duties. 

Education and Experience
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and cleaning safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and disposal of hazardous waste. WHMIS certification would be an asset. Preference will be given to those with some related cleaning experience.

Conditions of Employment

• Criminal record check
• Valid Yukon Class 5 driver's license or a willingness to obtain within three (3) months of employment (Note: it is each employee’s responsibility to obtain liability insurance (business) on his or her car insurance)
• Driver’s abstract
• Valid WHMIS certification is an asset
• Willing to work irregular hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends
