YNTEP is a Bachelor of Education program credentialed by University of Regina and delivered fully in Yukon, with an emphasis on teaching in rural, Yukon First Nation communities.  The main function of this instructor position is teaching with specific emphasis on culturally responsive teaching practices, the decolonization and Indigenization of pedagogy, and enacting Yukon First Nations educational priorities. The Instructor will also bring current best practices in teacher education, Indigenous education, and teaching and learning in a postsecondary environment into the program.
