Reporting to the Department Head of Trades, you will be responsible for teaching our Pre-apprenticeship Electrical program and Level 1 technical training and will have future opportunities to teach Electrical Levels 2, 3 & 4. With your trades experience and extensive knowledge about electrical and apprenticeship training, you will be conducting practical and theoretical training as well as ensuring that equipment and shops are conducive to a quality learning environment for students. In addition, you will maintain the highest safety standards and work collaboratively with colleagues in the School of Trades.

The ideal candidate will have certification as an Interprovincial Electrician (Red Seal) including extensive post journeyperson experience in an industrial/ commercial/residential environment.

Post-secondary instructional experience is preferred.
