Yukon University’s Continuing studies department is seeking Expressions of Interest from qualified instructors, facilitators, and subject matter experts interested in teaching non-credit Continuing Studies and Northern Social Justice training courses on a casual contract basis.

We are currently interested in connecting with individuals who have expertise in areas such as:
• Leadership & Management
• Human Resources
• Administrative & Workplace Skills
• Computer & Digital Skills (including Microsoft Office applications)
• Bookkeeping, Finance & Business Operations
• Communication, Conflict Resolution & Workplace Relations
• Mediation, Negotiation & Facilitation Skills
• Small Business, Non-Profit & Entrepreneurial Skills
• Workplace Health, Wellness & Psychological Safety
• Northern Social Justice and Community-Based Training
• Other professional or workplace development topics relevant to Yukon communities and employers

Our courses are offered in a variety of formats including in-person, online, hybrid, and community-based delivery throughout the Yukon. We are particularly interested in practical, applied learning opportunities that respond to evolving workplace, organizational, and community needs across the Yukon. Ideal candidates will bring a combination of subject matter expertise, relevant professional experience, and a passion for adult learning. Experience facilitating or teaching adult learners is considered an asset.

• their area(s) of expertise
• relevant certifications, education, or professional designations
• previous instructional, facilitation, or community-based experience
• preferred delivery format(s) and availability
• ideas for potential course offerings, workshops, or emerging training topics
