Reporting to the Post-Secondary Education and Training Coordinator, this mentored position provides a citizen with exposure to the area of Adult Learning & Employment Services in a First Nation office environment. By performing a variety of tasks related to client service and support, administrative and clerical support, community outreach, data entry, event and logistical planning and records management, the incumbent will have the opportunity to increase a wide range of skills and knowledge to enhance their employability.
An Eligibility List may be established from this competition – the duration of the eligibility list may be up to 12 months. The eligibility list may be used to fill future permanent full-time, permanent part-time, temporary full-time, temporary part-time, term, or auxiliary on-call vacancies within the same department and classification based on the organizational needs by going the next highest ranked candidate until the eligibility list expires.

Essential Qualifications:
- Grade 10 (or equivalency) with an interest in office administration, education or human services field. An equivalent combination of skills and experience may be considered.
- Some experience providing service to clients or the general public.
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable, self-motivated and punctual.
- Sensitive and understanding of TH traditions and values.
- Ability to work independently and within a team-based environment.
