Reporting to the Records Information Management Administrator, the incumbent is responsible for entering data from various source documents into the Microsoft 365 SharePoint, processing, and data management, performing data searches, and appropriately filing digital documents. The incumbent will be responsible for reviewing and entering data information into appropriate files proactively verifying data through source documents, monitoring and updating existing data when required, and retrieving data for team members upon request.
An Eligibility List may be established from this competition – the duration of the eligibility list may be up to 12 months. The eligibility list may be used to fill future permanent full-time, permanent part-time, temporary full-time, temporary part-time, term, or auxiliary on-call vacancies within the same department and classification based on the organizational needs by going the next highest ranked candidate until the eligibility list expires.

Essential Qualifications:
- Grade 12 graduation supplemented by courses in office administration and records management, An equivalent combination of education, knowledge, skills, and experience may be considered.
- Good working knowledge of Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in social structure, culture, and traditional knowledge.
- Good working knowledge of Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in Government systems.
- Experience with, or willingness to learn Microsoft 365 SharePoint.
- Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and office equipment.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent typing/keyboard skills.
- Must be self-motivated and reliable.
- Knowledge of the methods, techniques and procedures used in the collection, storage and retention of records and documents.
Assets:
- Knowledge of time management to complete tasks at hand. Check completed work for accuracy.
- Knowledge of workflow and classification scheme options and design techniques.
- Knowledge of the principles of Administration and Records processes.
Conditions of Employment:
