The Opportunity: Customer Service Supervisor
Home location: Whitehorse, Dawson, Mayo or Faro, Yukon
Who we are: Yukon Energy is the main generator and transmitter of electrical energy in the territory. Our plant facilities are on the Traditional Territory of Yukon First Nations. There are 14 First Nations in the territory, and we are proud to work within these Traditional Territories in all our business operations.
What will you do: Reporting to the Director, Corporate and Business Development, the Customer Service Supervisor is responsible to deliver an exceptional customer experience to our residential, commercial and government customers. You are integral to the growth and development of our team and business process improvements. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer experiences and generate new sources of revenue for the corporation while building strong relationships with our customers and delivering on multiple projects and timelines.
What you need to succeed:
• Certificate / Diploma / Bachelor’s in Business Administration or other related business program
• Minimum of 5 years office administration experience
• Minimum of 3 years supervisory / team lead experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence, persuade and deal effectively with others
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines
• Working knowledge of Yukon’s electricity system, rate structures and utility regulations. Working knowledge and/or prior use of Yukon Energy’s billing system is an asset
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills
