The YFNED Nutrition team is seeking an energetic, supportive community-minded individual to assist with the School Nutrition Program in Ross River. Nutrition plays a key role in promoting student wellness, and you will work successfully with the cook to produce high-quality nutritious meals and snacks for students during the school year, while maintaining a safe and sanitary kitchen.

This position requires the ability to work closely with the cook and other helpers, the school administration and staff to ensure meals are delivered on time and that any allergies or dietary requirements of the children are met.

Position requirements include:  Pre-employment acceptable RCMP Security Clearance and Vulnerable Sector Clearance, Food Safe level 1. This position requires working early in the mornings. Getting to and from the school is the responsibility of the employee. A valid drivers license & personal transportation is an asset.
