ARE YOU INTERESTED IN BEING A CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR IN THE PRACTICAL NURSE PROGRAM?

Are you an experienced RN or LPN who is interested in teaching students in a clinical environment? Are you interested in joining a team of supportive nurses who are passionate about teaching and nursing? If so, the PN program is seeking experienced RNs or LPNs to provide clinical instruction and supervision to students during their first practicum placement in Continuing Care. This opportunity offers an introduction to experiential learning, simulation, skill development, mentorship, and course delivery.

Opportunity: Clinical Instructors for NURS 1401 (Clinical 1 Foundational)
Schedule: Weekdays during the day (no nights/weekends) tentatively starting March 19th until April 20th, 2026.

The ideal candidates will have a baccalaureate or a master’s degree in nursing; registration or are eligible for registration with Yukon Registered Nurses Association; OR a diploma in practical nursing; licensed as a Practical Nurse in Yukon or are eligible to be licensed as a Practical Nurse in Yukon. Previous instructional experience is an asset but not essential. Experience working in diverse settings, including community care, long-term care, and acute care is preferred. Extensive experience working in continuing care is an asset.
