Yukon University is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the Yukon Strategy for Patient-Oriented Research (YSPOR) and Integrated Youth Services (IYS) initiatives within the YukonU Research Centre. Reporting to the Operational Lead, this position provides administrative and operational support that contributes to the effective delivery of research activities and programs.

The Administrative Assistant coordinates a broad range of administrative, financial, human resource, communications, and office operations functions. The position serves as a primary point of contact for researchers, staff, students, and external partners, ensuring efficient service delivery and effective administration of systems, processes, and resources that support Yukon University's health research activities.

Qualifications
• Administrative Assistant, Office Administration Certificate, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three to five years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a complex office environment.
• Experience supporting financial and human resource administrative processes.
• Experience providing customer service and coordinating multiple administrative functions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Knowledge of administrative, financial, and human resource procedures.
• Knowledge of records management practices and confidentiality requirements.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and administrative systems such as Banner.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
