Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounts Receivable Officer processes accounts receivables on behalf of the TH Government with respect to contribution agreements, rental and program revenues. The incumbent ensures receivables are invoiced, recorded and reconciled accurately and on time, provides support in arrears management, and responds to inquiries from tenants, Citizens and jëje’in. The incumbent contributes to reporting, audit preparation and general finance duties as assigned.
An Eligibility List may be established from this competition – the duration of the eligibility list may be up to 12 months. The eligibility list may be used to fill future permanent full-time, permanent part-time, temporary full-time, temporary part-time, term, or auxiliary on-call vacancies within the same department and classification based on the organizational needs by going the next highest ranked candidate until the eligibility list expires.

Essential Qualifications:
- Completion of Grade 12, with coursework or training in bookkeeping, accounting or business, along with one year of office administration or financial experience (preferably in accounts receivable or customer billing); an equivalent combination of education, knowledge, skills and experience may be considered.
- Familiarity with computerized accounting systems (Sage preferrable).
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Strong planning, organizational, prioritization, multi-tasking and time management skills.
- Effective communication, negotiation, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to meet critical deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prepare documentation accurately from verbal and written instruction.
- Ability to interpret and comply with TH Government legislation, policies, procedures and GAAP.
