This introductory course is for members of boards, tribunals and committees with a quasi-judicial function. The course was developed by the B.C. Council of Administrative Tribunals, and is designed to provide participants with a better understanding of their role and responsibilities as tribunal members.



This course consists of four sessions:



  • Administrative Law and the Principles of Natural Justice

  • Conducting Fair Hearings and Evaluating Evidence

  • Decision-Making and Decision-Writing

  • Ethical and Professional Responsibilities for Decision-Makers
