Blanket Exercise open to YFN government employees

Description:

The Blanket Exercise is an interactive learning experience that explores the nation-to-nation relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Canada. It walks participants through hundreds of years of Canadian and Indigenous legal history in order to understand the impact of law, legislation and policy on Indigenous peoples.

It engages people’s minds and hearts in understanding why the relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples is often broken and how we can take an action together.

It is facilitated by Yukon Government with the support of Respectful Workplace Office.
