Ta’an Kwäch’än Council is seeking a dynamic and results orientated Manager to lead its newly formed Citizen Development department. 

This department is founded on a life-long learning philosophy and is committed to ensuring academic success of students from K-12, and through College & University in both academic and technically orientated streams.  The department will also strive to help Citizens obtain, maintain, and develop themselves within and beyond jobs within their chosen fields.  Where applicable, guidance and support will be provided to those Citizens interested in exploring self-employment opportunities. As part of the overall traditional language revitalization initiative, teaching and learning of the Southern Tutchone language is a priority as a goal of this department. Continuing life-skills development remains a commitment when it comes to delivery for all Citizens.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Development Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, directing and reviewing programs, projects and initiatives related to TKC Citizens education and career aspirations. The Development Manager will carry out these duties to help achieve the governments’ mandate.
