The Opportunity:  Full time, permanent position.

 

Who we are:  Yukon Energy operates electricity generation, transmission and distributions systems across the Yukon on the Traditional Territories of multiple Yukon First Nations.  Building and maintaining strong, respectful and productive relationships with Yukon First Nations is critical to the Corporation’s ongoing success.

 

What you will do:  Reporting to the Capital Program Manager, the Project Manager will
coordinate, implement and complete projects related to the refurbishment or replacement of the Corporations utility assets safety and efficiently. 
 

What you need to succeed
 

·         University degree in Engineering;
·         Health & Safety/ Environmental certification;

·         Project Management Designation would be an asset;  

·         7+ years of working experience as a Project Manager on power related projects; with
demonstrated knowledge of the Project Management Institute (PMI) body of knowledge;

·         experience with industry related scheduling systems including Smartsheet and demonstrated experience in procurement procedures;
·         excellent leadership, planning and organization and problem solving skills.
